Florida Silver Alert

A full-screen Silver Alert board for any display in Florida. Each time it loads it shows one person from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's current Silver Alerts, newest alerts first, with a photo, their age, when and where they went missing, a QR code for the official FDLE flyer, and a call to 911 or 1-888-FL-MISSING. Silver Alerts help find older adults with dementia who have gone missing.

Help find missing older adults in Florida from any screen

The Florida Silver Alert app turns a screen into a Silver Alert board. Each time it loads, it shows one person from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's current Silver Alerts: their photo, their age, when and where they went missing, and a QR code that opens the official FDLE flyer on a phone. The newest alerts come first.

Silver Alerts help find older adults with dementia who have gone missing, often by car. "Call 911 or 1-888-FL-MISSING" is on screen at all times.

Where it fits

  • Gas stations, convenience stores, and rest areas
  • Pharmacies, grocery stores, and shopping centers
  • Senior centers, libraries, and community centers
  • Hospital and clinic waiting rooms

Always current, never stale

The alert list is refreshed from FDLE every hour and checked field by field before it is published. If the list hasn't been refreshed for a few hours, or the screen is offline, the app shows the phone numbers instead of an old alert, so a person who has been found never stays on screen.

Alert data and photographs come from FDLE and are shown unaltered. This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by FDLE.

Already running something else? These apps work there too. Each one is a standard web page, so it plays on BrightSign players, Samsung Tizen and LG webOS displays, Android and Amazon Fire TV devices, and on digital signage platforms such as Yodeck, ScreenCloud, OptiSigns, Xibo, Rise Vision and TelemetryTV. If your player can show a URL, it can run these apps.
